West Allis is the 11th most populous city in Wisconsin, home to 60,325 people (2020 census) on about 11.4 square miles, with the Root River and the Kinnickinnic River flowing through it.
Before it was West Allis, the area was known as Honey Creek and later North Greenfield. The name comes from Edward P. Allis, whose company built a large manufacturing plant here. West Allis was incorporated as a village in 1902 and became a city in 1906.
West Allis is full of local landmarks: Wisconsin State Fair Park, home of the Milwaukee Mile racetrack, the Pettit National Ice Center, a well-known indoor speed skating facility, and the Candy Cane Lane holiday display along Oklahoma and Montana Avenues between 92nd and 96th Streets.
With so many homes on compact city lots, trees often grow close to houses, garages, and wires. That makes careful trimming and precise removals especially important. The city also appears on the Arbor Day Foundation Tree City USA list, with 38 years of recognition as of the 2020 list.
We prune with clearance in mind, keeping branches away from roofs, siding, and utility lines.

A golden ash in fall color is a beautiful sight, but ash trees across Southeast Wisconsin face a serious threat from the emerald ash borer, a beetle that can kill an ash tree in as little as two years.
Treating ash trees before an infestation occurs, or in its early stages, works better and costs less than trying to eliminate the pest later. Our arborists can identify the ash trees on your property and tell you whether treatment or removal makes sense.
Yes. Our crews climb hard-to-reach trees, and we use compact, self-propelled equipment where access is limited.
Any season can work. Winter has real advantages, including frozen ground, snow cover, and bare branches that make a tree easier to assess.
Make sure everyone is safe, stay away from any power lines, and call us. Emergency service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Wisconsin State Fair Park covers nearly 200 acres and is home to the Exposition Center, the Milwaukee Mile Speedway, and the Original Cream Puff Pavilion. Each August it hosts the Wisconsin State Fair.
From the neighborhoods around State Fair Park to the streets near Candy Cane Lane, we serve all of West Allis and neighboring Milwaukee, Wauwatosa, and Greenfield.
